The tournement..and why the nba is better to watch.
I, like most people, are swept up in the initial hype of the march bracket madness, but i am here to tell you the nba has more to offer. Most people get caught up in the abundance of games, wow look how many crappie games i have to watch...wowie! Sure there are the occasional good buzzer beaters that give the tourney its name, but, for the most part all you get is sloppy second rate tense college play...i might as well be watching the nbdl(the nba's developmental league). So all we have left are these networks that give us a large dose of hoopla (pardon the pun) and take all the money and run. Hey wait there's a bracket of college lacrosse on as well...wow cant wait to watch lacrosse madness...please. I want good quality basketball and i don't care if there are college cheerleaders on the sidelines...well i do a little. So if you want to fall into the hype trap and watch eastern niagra take on circusville st. then by all means try the tourney on for size, but after you watch it for six hours and second rate ball, terrible refereeing, and boring all around play dont say i didnt warn you. I will take a great nba game any day over the whole ncaa tourney, the whole thing. Is the arena league on tonight i gotta find something to watch.

of course, with studs like greg kite, kurt rambis, and ron pervis, you know that it is a team sport and that each team is as bad as their worst player. lets use rodman, the gentleman with the worst hand eye coordination that has 5 championship rings because of a dominant player on his team. oh the excitement. is chicago going to win again?? oh i dont know, is jordan hurt? no, oh my gosh, they won. wow, what a surprise. you are right. the nba is anybody's game and you never, ever know who is going to win. nba, its fantastic. i enjoy the most the last 2 minutes of the nba game. wow, may i repeat that, WOW. so fast acting. i am always lost......what just happened?? oh, that is right, after a shot it is automatic time out and the ball is in bounded on the other half. wow. i am surprised more people dont have seizures/heart attacks with the stimulation overload from the last 2 minutes of an nba game. i can go on and re reading my message it sounds sarcastic but ironically it is not. i love the nba. particularly the short coaches. they have such a fine knowledge of basketball and their plays that they develop. incredible. the players all of such discipline and intelligence to execute without conflict and it is comparible to a piece by Bach or Mozart in its beauty. the thumping of the chest isnt too classical but everything else.......brilliance.

College is still better. At least college players convince you that they are actually trying, and/or give two sh*ts about the outcome of the game.
